The Bi Fold Frame Assembly Instructions

Step 1

Assemble stretcher rails to arms

1) Open the box remove frame pieces and hardware bag (look carefully for the hardware bag).
2) Take the STRETCHER rails from the box and assemble to ARMS as shown.
3) IMPORTANT: Assemble as shown but do not tighten bolts yet!

Step 2

Attach BACK DECK and SEAT DECK

1) Lay the BACK DECK and the SEAT DECK on the floor as shown.
2) Connect the BACK DECK and the SEAT DECK with the CLEVIS PIN, WASHER, and LOCKING PIN.

Step 3

Fit BACK DECK and SEAT DECK into position

1) Place the DECKS between both bifold arms. Fit the runners into the SLOTS in the arms.
CAREFUL: This step can be tricky - it is best done with two people. (Watch that the plastic runners don't damage the arm rest as you lower the deck into place.)
2) Once the BACK DECK and the SEAT DECK is in tighten all bolts.

How To Convert Your Futon Frame

1) Sofa to bed position
2) lock in Bed position (The fold down short leg is for some queen size frames.) Note: Remember not to force your futon frame when converting. A new, heavy futon mattress can be more difficult but will get easier to fold up and down with use. Be careful not to force your frame up while on one side while the other side still has the runner in the lock position.
3) Back to Sofa position
